In tribute to German avant-garde classical composer Karlheinz Stockhausen, who had been cited as an influence by many progressive jazz and rock musicians. Classically trained former Grateful Dead keyboardist Tom Constanten had studied under him. Stockhausen passed away on December 5, 2007 at age 79.
