1/16/07 with Eli Polonsky - Duane Allman tribute

Todays special show centered on a new biography of guitarist Duane Allman titled "Skydog: The Duane Allman Story" by music writer Randy Poe on Backbeat Books.

It was a tribute to the life and music of Duane Allman, who died at age 24 following a tragic motorcycle accident on October 29, 1971. Author Randy Poe joined me by telephone for the first hour of the show to discuss the book. All the songs played in full below include Duane Allman on guitar.
