September 3, 2007 Playlist w/ Host Bob Dubrow

This was the annual Bring Yer Kids to WMBR show, maybe the 4th in a series. We welcomed guitar-slinging singer (and dancer, but that doesn't translate well on radio) Madelyn (age 11), budding naturalist/horticulturalist Nathan (age 8), and the usually irrepressible Eleyna (age 3), who, as the wild card, was hardly under my control. Maddy sang and played a couple songs, Nathan was as always the reluctant interviewee, and Eleyna began the show with much promise, then ran away pouting when her older sister took the spotlight. 'Tis obvious we'll soon have to devote a whole show to Eleyna to keep her happy.

Featured are sets relating to Nathan's passions, namely our backyard bugs n' beasts, and flowers. There is also a set of Maddy's fave raves of late. Plus we have a couple that are Labor Day themed. Wish I'd known Alex had devoted a whole show to the holiday this past Friday....I would then not have duplicated three of his songs. That's against my religion.

Hope you enjoy!
